Walt Disney made it sound so easy; and it really is when you listen and learn.

Welcome to those of you joining me from COLORADO MOUNTAIN MOM and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail."

Our topic this month's is “What is your favorite Disney quote, and how has it inspired you.” And just like it’s very difficult to select one meal or snack as the best, one attraction or even one park or resort over all others, selecting just one inspirational Disney quotation is just not possible.

I’ve actually used quotations from Walt Disney in presentations and trainings. Here are two that I’m sure you have heard before:
  • If you can dream it, you can do it.
  • It's kind of fun to do the impossible.

I’ve always believed you need to have a dream of doing something outside of your comfort area, out-of-the-box so to speak; a goal beyond the everyday to make life exciting and rewarding. Often times it may seem like it is impossible, but then again, so many have made their dreams come true or the impossible happen, so why not me… or you!

One of my favorite quotations, especially from a marketing standpoint, is the following:
  • Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it they will want to come back and see you do it again and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”

Clearly the dreams brought to life by Walt Disney have brought me back again and again, and thruogh blogging, I want to bring others to enjoy the experience as well.

A couple of quotations I’ve framed and posted in my office, to remind me how one of the most successful people in history made it happen.
  • Our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them
  • When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionable.

Then, I’ve always like this quote from Walt Disney, since I served as a Board President of our local public library:
  • There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.
Lastly, nearly early everyone has heard this Walt Disney proclamationI only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse. But really that is not true. It was really all started in the mind, imagination, enthusiasm, insight, talent, ability to involve great people, and the love of one man… Walt Disney.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is MY DREAMS OF DISNEY. Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:
